FAQs
What’s the difference between Counseling and Coaching?
That is an excellent question! Counseling concentrates on an individual’s past and deals with healing emotional pain, understanding, and resolving the past. Coaching focuses on the present and the future by helping individuals to position themselves to reach their potential in life, work, or other directions.
What can I gain from Life & Wellness Coaching?
This is a great opportunity to fine-tune areas outside of professional development and deep dive into exploring the balance of your overall physical, emotional, and behavioral health.
I’m an employee from a Select Employer Group, are sessions reported to Human Resources or my Management?
If you’re an employee taking advantage of one of the available individual-based programs or services, rest assured that sessions are private and completely confidential. While participation is not disclosed, services may be based on SEG employer-based Human Resources Department agreements. Group-based workshop participation and team goal-driven results may be released based on the terms and conditions of the approval source. Contact us for more information on any SEG employer-based Human Resources restriction concerns or questions.
How often do sessions last, and how long are the programs?
Based on the initial 1:1 consultation, a custom recommendation is offered ~ as an example, a program session may require 45 minutes, with a once-per-week commitment* (results may vary and are based on final coaching contract terms agreement.)
